'Little Jalil plays a giant's game for Telerec'

JALIL MOIN probably the smallest player on the Jalan Besar Stadium pitch yesterday, played a big role in helping Telerec remove the roof over Club Housing and Development Board.
The swift winger slipped in the opening goal from the most unlikely of angles and lain on the next for Telerec to win the Singapore Government Services Football League Division One semi-final 2-0.
Jalil's goal was conjured in the 39th minute. From the kick-off, he set off on a long run to the byeline before squeezing the ball, amazingly, past Club HDB goalkeeper,Sulaiman Mohamed.
The goal put an abrupt end to the early antics of Sulaiman, who had,on one occasion, even amused himself by judgling the ball on his head.

Jalil went on another blistering run and Aswanir, who kept pace with him,was handily positioned when Jalil sent the ball over from the left.
